Under Arkansas law, all personal electronic devices must remain powered off from the start to the end of the school day.
🎒 Devices may be kept in student backpacks, but:
❌ They must stay turned off all day.
❌ Students may not access them during school hours.
✅ Exceptions include:
• Emergency situations
• Health-related plans (committee-approved)
• School-approved special events (e.g., taking photos)

Valley View Public Schools is deeply saddened by the loss of one of our students, Bentley Peterson, who passed away on Friday. Bentley was a student at Valley View Junior High and an active member of our Blazer Band and Theatre programs. He was known for his bright smile and kind heart, which touched everyone who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to his family and friends. Visitation and funeral arrangements scheduled for Friday, August 1 are detailed at the link below.
