💙💛 #BlazerLoveStories 💛💙 🏃‍♂️📣 Robert and Karri’s Blazer love story began at Valley View in the early 1980s. Robert ran cross country and played baseball, while Karri cheered on the Blazers, ran track, and stayed active in 4H. Their paths crossed often through sports and school activities, and in 1981 — during their sophomore year — they started dating. 🎓 They graduated together in 1984, carrying with them years of memories made on the field, on the track, on the sidelines, and in the halls of Valley View. 💍 In 1990, they said “I do,” beginning a new chapter rooted in the same values and community that first brought them together. 👧👧 Their Blazer legacy continued through their two daughters, Kalli Marshall Long and Kami Marshall Huggins, who both attended Valley View — walking the same halls and building their own Blazer memories. 💙 From student-athletes and cheerleader to proud Blazer parents, Robert and Karri’s story is a true testament to love, tradition, and lifelong Blazer pride. 💛 💙 Once a Blazer, Always a Blazer. 💛 #BlazerPride🔥

💙💛 #BlazerLoveStories 💛💙 👩‍❤️‍👨 Jessica and Casey’s story began in 2003 at Valley View. From everyday moments in the halls to sharing life’s milestones, they grew up together and graduated side by side in 2006, proud to be Blazers! 🎓 🤝 Some of their favorite memories weren’t just the big events, but the everyday moments — laughing with friends in the commons at lunch, talking between classes, and building friendships that started in school and are still strong today. 💍 In 2012, they came full circle by celebrating their wedding reception in what is now the junior high — but was their high school when they attended. There couldn’t have been a more meaningful place to celebrate where it all began. 🍎 Jessica’s Blazer journey continued as she returned to Valley View to teach first grade, pouring her heart into the same school that helped shape her own story. 👧👧 Today, their legacy lives on through their two sweetest little Blazer girls — Adley in 1st grade and Ellery in 6th grade — growing up in the same halls and carrying on the Blazer tradition. 💙 Once a Blazer, Always a Blazer. 💛 #BlazerPride🔥

💙💛 #BlazerLoveStories 💛💙 👩‍❤️‍👨 Greg and Sherry’s love story was captured on February 29, 1980, at the Sadie Hawkins School Dance during their senior year at Valley View. Sherry graduated in 1980, and Greg followed in 1981. Both attended Valley View their entire school careers, building a lifetime of Blazer memories together. 🏀 Both Greg and Sherry were basketball players and continued their love for the game long after graduation, faithfully attending and cheering on Blazer teams through the years. 🍎 In 1988, Sherry returned to Valley View to teach fifth grade. She later became Curriculum Director in 2005 and proudly served the district she loved until her retirement in 2016. ❤️ Greg passed away in 2019, but he would have loved watching his nephew, Max Moody, and his great-nephew, Sadler McCormick, playing basketball for the Blazers this season. His Blazer spirit lives on in the stands and on the court. 💙 Once a Blazer, Always a Blazer. 💛 #BlazerPride🔥
