❄️🥶 Winter Weather Reminder 🥶❄️
It looks like winter is finally here! We are expecting some of the coldest temperatures of the year so far this week. We will continue to go outside for recess as long as the “feels like” temperature is above 32°.
Even at those temperatures, it is still very cold. Please help us by reminding your student to come prepared with appropriate winter clothing, including coats, hats, and gloves, so they can stay warm and safe while outside. 🧤🧣🧥

💙💛 This week, our 5th grade students kicked off D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education)! Special guests from JPD introduced the program and talked with students about responsibility, making good choices, and evaluating the positive and negative consequences of different decisions through real-life scenarios.
We’re proud of our 5th graders and teachers for engaging in important drug safety education, and grateful to our local law enforcement for partnering with us and supporting our students. 💙💛
