Students explored real-world rates, and it looks like a few might have a future with the Valley View Jr. High basketball and track teams ๐ Even Principal Davis dusted off his basketball shoes and joined the fun!
Afterward, students practiced converting unit rates per second, writing ordered pairs, and graphing their data. Who says math canโt be a blast? ๐๐

What better way to celebrate learning about Lyric Poetry than with a little friendly competition? ๐คโจ Our 6th graders had an absolute blast playing โFinish the Lyricsโ in Mrs. Stuartโs and Mrs. Tomlinsonโs language classrooms โ and even Principal Davis joined the fun! ๐ถ๐ There were big laughs, surprise stars, and some serious musical talent on display! ๐๐ต๐

Costumes must be school appropriate.
Inflatables, props, accessories, masks, or weapons are not allowed.
Hats, hoods, and gloves may be worn, but may be required to be removed during class and while in the building.
All costume preparations must be completed at home (No dressing, applying makeup, or colored hairspray, at school.)
