Our House Leaders are spreading holiday cheer! 🎄✨ Sister Houses teamed up to decorate house-themed Christmas trees, and our cafeteria has never looked more festive!

Today we held our annual 5th and 6th Grade Spelling Bee! 🐝✨ A huge thank you to our teachers for organizing such a great event, and congratulations to our winner, Ava Imboden! All of our spellers did an incredible job — we are so proud of each one of them! 💙📚

🎉 Congratulations to our Valley View Quiz Bowl Team! 🎉 They competed at ASU today against 17 other teams in the CRESC Quiz Bowl Tournament and brought home an amazing 2nd place finish! We’re so proud of their quick thinking, teamwork, and incredible brain power! 🧠💙

😴Our middle school teachers are officially tired of 6️⃣7️⃣ on this 67th day of school — so tired, in fact, that they launched a surprise pajama-day protest! 💤

Over the past few days, Ms. Thompson’s science class has been growing and observing green onions to explore the process of photosynthesis! 🌱🔬 Our Blazers loved watching their plants change and learning how sunlight fuels growth. 🌞💙 #BlazerPride🔥

Today our 6th grade Valley View students took part in the Small Business Leadership Conference at ASU! 🎉 Students were challenged to design a brand-new (or greatly improved) toy and bring it to life through a full business plan booklet, an advertisement, a 60-second commercial, and an elevator pitch. Their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills were on full display—and we couldn’t be prouder! 💙💛 Congratulations to: 🏅 Triston Ohlson, Samantha Ruiz, Nguyen Ho, and Raymond Ye — 3rd Place in Business Plans 🏆 Gabriel Woodside, Colton Chester, and Zyad Ragab — 1st Place in Commercials Way to represent Valley View! #BlazerPride

Big congratulations to our Lions International Peace Poster Contest winners! 🕊️✨ 🎨 Kallie Sparks — 2nd Place 🎨 Avery Schwarz — 1st Place and advancing to the state competition! We’re so proud of their creativity and hard work! 💙💛

Mrs. Sandlin & Mrs. Leible’s math classes teamed up this week to put their rate skills to the test! Students explored real-world rates, and it looks like a few might have a future with the Valley View Jr. High basketball and track teams 😉 Even Principal Davis dusted off his basketball shoes and joined the fun! Afterward, students practiced converting unit rates per second, writing ordered pairs, and graphing their data. Who says math can’t be a blast? 💙💛
