Today our 5th graders participated in DARE and learned about nonverbal communication and the importance of effective listening. It was a great lesson on how body language, facial expressions, and being attentive can help us communicate clearly and respectfully with others. 💙💛

Our 6th grade GT students participated in the Scarlet to Black Financial Wellness Challenge at Arkansas State University! ❤️🖤🐺

💵 They were put to the test with a 65-question financial literacy exam, practiced their budgeting and construction skills by building a tower on a budget, and participated in a Reality Fair where they were randomly assigned a job and salary and had to make real-life spending decisions.

We are so proud of the way our students applied their knowledge and rose to the challenge! 👏✨

💙💛 Congratulations to our Valley View Middle School students who participated in the Delta Symphony Orchestra Children's Choir. 🎶🎵 Students from Jonesboro, Nettleton, Brookland and All Saints Lutheran schools took the stage in a grand joint performance that also featured professional musicians from the Delta Symphony Orchestra. 🎤 Not only did these students put on a great performance but they represented our school and community so well.
