It looks like winter is finally here! We are expecting some of the coldest temperatures of the year so far this week. We will continue to go outside for recess as long as the “feels like” temperature is above 32°.
Even at those temperatures, it is still very cold. Please help us by reminding your student to come prepared with appropriate winter clothing, including coats, hats, and gloves, so they can stay warm and safe while outside. 🧤🧣🧥

Mrs. Ellington’s classes took the stage for “Pop-Up Book Talks,” helping build a true Community of Readers. Students shared some of their favorite books with their classmates—what a great way to spark a love of reading! 📚✨
This program helps strengthen basic math skills while giving students the opportunity to build character and self-esteem by helping others. It’s a wonderful way for our students to learn that their efforts can truly make a difference.

This month, our focus was GIVING. We proudly awarded our Students and Teachers of the Month and celebrated our top house earners by house for both 5th and 6th grade. 🌟🏆
