📚✨ Parent-Teacher Conferences are this Thursday! ✨📚

Conferences will be held Thursday, February 12th from 2:30–8:00 PM. We’re looking forward to meeting with our families!

As a reminder, due to our recent snow days, this will be a student day with dismissal at 1:30 PM.

🌎 Ms. Holmes & Ms. Walling’s 6th grade social studies classes had a blast bringing The Odyssey to life! 🏛️📖 As part of their Ancient Greece unit, students read a play version of Homer’s epic and fully committed to their roles with dramatic voices, big expressions, and lots of enthusiasm. 🎭✨ We love seeing students so engaged, having fun, and learning at the same time! 📚 #BlazerPride🔥

Due to our recent snow days, the Scholastic Book Fair schedule has been adjusted. The Book Fair will now begin TOMORROW, February 9th, and run through February 12th — including during Parent-Teacher Conferences!

Our Basketball Homecoming Pep Rally was out of this world! 🚀🏀 We jammed through with the Blazer Band during a traveling pep rally 🎺🥁 and celebrated in style with our Valley View Homecoming royalty 👑✨. We are so proud of our middle school Spelling Bee finalists for representing Valley View at the county spelling bee at ASU yesterday! 🐝📚 Their hard work, confidence, and determination truly shined, and it was wonderful to see them take on such a challenge with grace and pride. Competing at this level is no small accomplishment, and we are incredibly proud of the way they represented our school! 💙💛

🎶🎉 Homecoming Day Two: Old School Jam! 🎉🎶 We had so much fun seeing our students’ take on Y2K style today! From baggy jeans and windbreakers to camisoles and throwback looks, the creativity was on full display. Keep the fun going—Homecoming week ends tomorrow with Extreme Blue & Gold! 💙💛

This week we’re celebrating School Counselor Week, and we want to send a HUGE thank you to our amazing middle school counselor, Erin Popejoy 💙✨ She is the glue that holds us all together. Valley View School District will utilize the built-in inclement weather instructional hours included in the 2025-2026 district calendar. The plan for the remaining 108 minutes to be made up will be determined at a later date. Stay safe, warm, and enjoy the snow!
