A VIEW into the last week of the semester!

Our VV Baseball boys and VV Dance Team joined forces for a fun and friendly competition — Dancing with the Pack! 🕺💃 Their energy, talent, and teamwork didn’t just entertain… they made a difference. Together, they raised $1,200 for our Back Pack Program! 🎒✨ We’re so proud of their giving hearts and their commitment to serving our VV community. 💙💛 What a night!

🎄✨ CHRISTMAS FOOD DRIVE IN PROGRESS✨🎄 Our Blazers are spreading holiday cheer by putting together Christmas food boxes for families in need — and we still need your help! 📦💙💛 We are collecting: • Pudding cups 🍮 • Peanut butter crackers 🥜 • Popcorn 🍿 • Ramen noodles 🍜 • Hamburger Helper 🍲 Every donation helps bring Christmas joy to our community! 🎁💛

🧪🎨 Chemistry Tie-Dye Day! 🎨🧪 Our students had an awesome time in the lab last week as they dove into the science behind tie-dye! They didn’t just create their own colorful designs—they got to see firsthand how chemical bonding and reactions work together to make those vibrant patterns come to life. Nothing beats learning when it’s bright, messy, and full of science magic!

Starting December off STRONG and fully snacked & energized thanks to our amazing SENIOR CLASS + their parents! 🙌🎄 Our lounge is stocked, the fridge is filled with sodas and energy drinks, and we are officially fueled to make it to Christmas break! 🥤⚡️ Thank you for pouring into us (literally) and kicking off the month with all the treats and all the hype. We are grateful — and highly energized. 😄❤️

🎉 Student of the Month & Teacher of the Month! 🎉 ✨ Student of the Month: Kaitlyn Her teachers describe her as hardworking, helpful, attentive, and always kind — a bright spot in their day and a friend to everyone. We’re proud of you, Kaitlyn! 💛💙 ✨ Teacher of the Month: Mrs. Counce Students say her class is fun, she’s bubbly and encouraging, and she makes them feel like true artists. Thank you, Mrs. Counce, for creating such a positive and inspiring space! 🎨💛

Our College U.S. History students had an awesome opportunity today! 🎓✨ Mr. Crader’s classes toured A-State and got a real look at life as a college student — from checking out the dorms, to eating in the cafeteria, to meeting with several department chairs about future degree options. They even spotted a few Blazer alums walking across campus! 💙💛🔥

💙💛 Science was busy at The View last week! 💛💙 Our Science Club kicked off the day with a paper airplane contest, and we had so much fun watching everyone test out their best designs. Congrats to our winners: 🏆 Cooper Cain 🏆 Gabe Campbell Our College Biology students also got hands-on with shark dissections. They even saw how the oil-rich liver helps sharks stay afloat—such a cool way to connect what they learn in class to real life!

We are so excited for our Dodgeball Tournament coming up Monday and Tuesday! This is always a fun event, but the most important part is why we do it — to help provide food items for students right here in our own school district. Your donations make a HUGE difference, and we appreciate every single one.

To participate, here’s what you need to know:

If you are PLAYING dodgeball: Bring 2 approved food items

If you want to WATCH dodgeball: Bring 1 approved food item

If you want to attend BOTH days: You must bring an item for each day

Approved items:

Mac & cheese cups

Packages of peanut butter & crackers

Boxes of granola bars

Cans of SpaghettiOs or ravioli

Soup cans

Before entering the gym, your name MUST be signed off to show you donated.

📌 If you already have your items today, you can:

Drop them off in the counseling office, OR

Bring them to lunch and get your name signed off for attendance

We celebrated our fall sports and extracurricular seasons with a Fun Lunch on Thursday—and it did not disappoint! 🎉💙💛 Students enjoyed an hour-long lunch, games, and plenty of Blazer spirit. From friendly competition to lots of laughter, it was the perfect way to celebrate all the hard work and success of our fall teams, band, and choir.

🎉💙💛 Blazer Spirit Shines Bright! 💛💙🎉 Our Valley View Spirit Teams have had an incredible season so far! 💃 Dance Team: They’ve dominated the floor this year with: • 3️⃣ - 1st Place Pom • 3️⃣ - 1st Place High Kick • 2️⃣ - 1st Place Jazz • 1️⃣ - 2nd Place Jazz 🏆 High Point Jazz Award They’ve had an amazing run and are headed to STATE this weekend! Let’s cheer them on as they take the stage one final time this season! 📣 Cheer Team: Our Blazer Cheerleaders have had an equally strong start with: • 🥇 Two 1st Place Finishes in 5A • 🏆 One Grand Champion Title • 💥 Jump Winner, Tumbling Winner, and Overall Cheer Score Winner We’re so proud of these hardworking athletes who bring the energy, spirit, and pride to everything they do.
