Our College U.S. History students had an awesome opportunity today! 🎓✨ Mr. Crader’s classes toured A-State and got a real look at life as a college student — from checking out the dorms, to eating in the cafeteria, to meeting with several department chairs about future degree options. They even spotted a few Blazer alums walking across campus! 💙💛🔥

💙💛 Science was busy at The View last week! 💛💙 Our Science Club kicked off the day with a paper airplane contest, and we had so much fun watching everyone test out their best designs. Congrats to our winners: 🏆 Cooper Cain 🏆 Gabe Campbell Our College Biology students also got hands-on with shark dissections. They even saw how the oil-rich liver helps sharks stay afloat—such a cool way to connect what they learn in class to real life!

Valley View High School proudly honored our veterans today! 🇺🇸

Mrs. Dana Shoemaker’s AP U.S. History class organized a meaningful Veterans Day assembly filled with gratitude and respect for those who have served our country. Our talented choir and band students performed beautiful patriotic pieces, and students shared heartfelt messages recognizing the sacrifices of our veterans.

A special acknowledgment goes to Mr. Joseph Waleszonia, our own history teacher and a proud member of the Air Force National Guard, for his service and dedication both in and out of the classroom.
Thank you to all who have served — today and every day, we honor you. 💙💛

🌍💡 Mrs. Mayfield’s AP World History students recently wrapped up their “Autopsy of an Empire” projects! Each group brought history to life by illustrating famous figures from major land empires—complete with symbolic “wounds” that represented the causes of their decline. What a creative and memorable way to explore how great empires rose and fell! ⚔️📜
