🔬✨ Our chemistry students have been diving into the world of atomic structure and particles!
Over the past few weeks, they've explored the fascinating behavior of electrons—how they absorb and emit energy, and what happens when atoms get "excited." They've also been learning about radioactive decay, discovering how particles like alpha and beta particles can be emitted from unstable nuclei.
From energy levels to emissions, it’s been an exciting journey into the building blocks of matter. Great job, scientists in the making! 💡🧪

Valley View is proud to recognize Joann Kim, senior at Valley View High School and current Arkansas HOSA–Future Health Professionals President.
Joann, along with her advisor Ms. Rich, represented our Blazers at the HOSA Washington Leadership Academy (WLA) this week.
The WLA brings together HOSA leaders from across the nation to sharpen leadership skills, connect with peers, and advocate for the future of healthcare in our nation’s capital.
We are proud of Joann’s leadership and the way she continues to shine a light on Valley View across the state and nation.

📚 VVHS teachers had a great day of professional development! We’re recharged, refreshed, and excited to see our students tomorrow! 💙💛

☀️🚗⚡ Blazers are chasing the sun!
Mrs. Heather Hutchinson’s AP Environmental class is putting their brainpower (and solar power!) to the test by designing and building solar cars. 🌍🔋
From learning about solar energy to testing aerodynamics and electrical engineering, these students are proving that hands-on learning is the best way to spark innovation. 💡✨

This week our seniors met one-on-one with Mrs. Loebach, Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Cline, and Mr. Lamberson to review their transcripts, graduation check sheets, and plans for a strong finish to high school! 🎓💙💛
During these meetings, we discussed:
✅ The new A2A (Arkansas Academic Challenge Access) Scholarship, which replaces the Lottery Scholarship at the concurrent level and helps support students taking accelerated college courses.
✅ Honor Graduate status requirements and how students are tracking toward that recognition.
✅ Updates on Arkansas’ new laws regarding weighted classes.
We are so proud of the Class of 2025 and are excited to help guide them on the path to graduation! 💙💛
