🌟 Teacher Spotlight: Melissa Mayfield 🌟
Valley View High's history teacher, Melissa Mayfield, inspires students with her passion and creativity in the classroom. Thank you for your dedication and impact on our Blazers!

🎉 Congratulations to Bridger Wallace, our Valley View High School HOBY representative! 🎉
We are incredibly proud of Bridger for being selected to represent VVHS at the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership program. This opportunity highlights his leadership skills, dedication to service, and passion for making a difference. We know he will make our Blazer community proud!

Mrs. Counce and Mrs. Bruff’s AP Art & Drawing III students traveled to the Bradbury Art Museum located on the campus of ASU. Students viewed the current exhibition “Contemporary Classic” and will begin making their own inspired artworks to submit for competition. The Inspired Exhibition can be viewed in December and will have student work from all across the area!

VVHS Science Club is making a positive impact to clean our campus with a fall campus litter pick-up.
By removing trash, we help protect habitats for local flora and fauna, promoting biodiversity.
Overall, picking up litter is a simple yet impactful way to contribute to a healthier planet and community.

🌎✨ Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with Mrs. Cecia Jones' Spanish II, III, and IV classes! ✨🌎
From September 15th to October 15th, we’ve been diving deep into the rich history and culture of Hispanic countries. My students researched influential Hispanic leaders and their contributions to global history, science, arts, and politics. We held a Gallery Walk where all the information was presented entirely in Spanish. Students read, reflected, and matched the details on their worksheets, reinforcing language and cultural understanding.
As a creative tribute, we also researched Latin American countries and created a collaborative poster with their flags to acknowledge and appreciate the contributions of every nation celebrated during Hispanic Heritage Month. 🇲🇽🇪🇸🇨🇴🇦🇷
