🎨 Art Class Spotlight 🎨 Mrs. Counce’s students explored light and shadow by drawing an egg, learning how small changes in lighting can create depth and dimension. They’ve also filled the hallways with amazing candy drawings that look almost real enough to eat! 🍬 Great work by these talented artists while exploring photorealism by creating artwork inspired by their favorite candies. ! ✨

🚀 Physics class is on fire! Students designed water-powered rockets using 1200 mL of water and air pressure to see how high they could fly. 🐷💨 They’re also exploring circular motion by calculating the speed of their flying pigs. Hands-on learning at its best! ✨

🧪💜 Chemistry + Kool-Aid = The Perfect Concentration! 💜🧪 In Mrs. Bailey’s Chemistry Lab, students put their knowledge of molarity to the test with a hands-on Kool-Aid Concentration Lab! By mixing different amounts of solute and solvent, we explored how concentration changes based on the ratio — and yes, we could definitely see (and smell!) the difference. From light pink solutions to deep, rich purple mixtures, students calculated molarity, compared concentrations, and connected real-world examples to chemistry concepts. Who knew understanding moles per liter could be this colorful? Learning is always sweeter in chemistry class! 💡

🚜🌾 Ag Appreciation Day at Valley View High School! 🌾🚜

Today was an amazing day as we celebrated Ag Appreciation Day with our fantastic Valley View High School students! We had the pleasure of inviting local agriculture professionals into our shop to see the incredible work our students are doing.

Our students had the opportunity to showcase their projects, share what they've been learning, and engage in some great conversations with industry experts. It was a wonderful chance for them to connect, ask questions, and build relationships within the agricultural community.

To wrap up the day, the Ag Department treated everyone to a delicious fish fry to show appreciation for all the support!

A huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this day special! We’re so proud of our students and the amazing things they’re learning.

✨ Calling All Local Businesses! ✨
Google Form: https://forms.gle/TnbXa92WNocZndrL7

We’re looking for businesses willing to open their doors to our high school seniors for a job shadow experience—just one day (minimum of 4 hours) can make a HUGE impact.

Before our students head off to college, trade school, the military, or straight into the workforce, this experience helps them:
✔ explore real careers
✔ make informed decisions about their future
✔ gain confidence and professionalism
✔ connect classroom learning to real-world skills

Job shadowing gives seniors a front-row seat to what a career truly looks like—and those lessons last far beyond graduation.

We would be incredibly grateful for any business willing to partner with us and invest a small amount of time to make a big difference in a student’s future.

If you’re interested or want more information, please comment below or email Jordan Loebach or Crystal Cline. Thank you for supporting our students and our community! 💙💛

💙 Calling all Valley View community members & local businesses! 💛

Want to make a real difference in the life of a Valley View senior? Consider sponsoring a scholarship this year!

Scholarships can be created by:
✨ A local business
✨ A family
✨ A graduating class
✨ In honor or memory of someone special

No amount is too small — even $500 helps cover the cost of college textbooks, and every dollar truly matters.

The best part? We can help you customize your scholarship however you’d like — from the name, to the criteria, to the story behind it. Your generosity can reflect what matters most to you.

If you’re interested in giving back and helping a senior take their next step, we’d love to work with you. Please reach out for more information-- jordan.loebach@valleyviewschools.net

Together, we can invest in our students and our future. 💙🔥

Hands-on learning at its best! 🐀🔬 Our anatomy students are diving deeper into the muscular system and major organs through rat dissections. Because these structures are very similar to humans, students can see real 3D relationships—muscle layers, attachments, and how everything works together with organs like the heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys. This kind of direct, hands-on experience helps concepts click in ways diagrams just can’t. It strengthens understanding, boosts retention, and builds a strong foundation for future studies in biology and medicine. Learning by doing = learning that lasts! 💪🧠
