It’s National Library Week, and we’re giving a big shoutout to Mrs. Turley! 📚✨
She always helps students find just the right book and creates a space that feels welcoming to everyone. With her open door, inviting environment, and constant smile, the library is more than just a place for books—it’s a place where students feel at home.
Thank you, Mrs. Turley, for all you do!

There’s something extra special about today at Valley View 💙💛
Our second annual “Meet Me at the 50 Yard Line” brought together two groups at opposite ends of their journey—our kindergartners and our seniors. Smiles, laughter, and a few sweet (and maybe emotional) moments filled the field as they met, connected, and exchanged gifts.
For our seniors, it’s a reminder of where it all began.
For our littles, it’s a glimpse of all that’s ahead.
Moments like these are what make Valley View more than just a school.

We had several seniors enjoy their last week of school by dressing as their "younger self"! Lots of hair bows, headbands, and throwback outfits!

We love celebrating excellence at THE VIEW! 🧠💙💛

Happy National Assistant Principals Week to our FAVORITE—Mr. Lamberson!!
If there’s a spirit day… he’s already planned his outfit. If there’s a theme… he’s going all in. And if there’s chaos… he’s somehow the calm right in the middle of it ready to tackle the problem.
He’s the perfect mix of fun and firm—keeping things running smoothly while still making our school a place kids want to be. And let’s be honest, no one does “professional but ready to dress up at any moment” quite like him.
The duo of Mr. Lamberson and Mrs. Cline? Elite. We are so lucky to have both of them leading the way and setting the tone for what makes Valley View so special.
We couldn’t love and appreciate him more! Drop a comment below and let Mr. Lamberson know how much he means to you 👇

This is an automated message from Valley View Public Schools.
The Jonesboro Fire Marshal and our contracted fire service company have inspected the High School and determined the water leak was caused by what appears to have been a faulty sprinkler head. Repairs are complete and systems fully operational.
All students and staff will return to school tomorrow as normally scheduled.
Thank you for your understanding!

High school drivers were dismissed early today due to a water leak in a mechanical closet. Fire personnel are currently on campus as a precaution.
All students are safe, and safety remains our top priority. Buses will run as normal.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Last week ,our AP Government class and Political Action Club students traveled to the Fowler Center for “Appeals on Wheels,” where they got a front-row seat to real oral arguments in front of the Arkansas Supreme Court. Talk about learning beyond the classroom!
Even better—after the case, students had the chance to hear directly from Justices Cody Hiland Womack and Rhonda Wood Bronni during a Q&A session, where they shared what it’s like to serve on the court and help shape decisions that impact our state.
Real-world experiences like this make government come alive and inspire our students to stay informed, involved, and engaged. So proud of this group! 👏

Brains, nerves, and a whole lot of curiosity 🧠
Anatomy students got hands-on today dissecting sheep brains as we dive into the nervous system—turning textbook pages into real-world learning.

Before Spring Break, some of our seniors attended the Here2Hired Job Fair hosted by Always Jonesboro!
Students connected with local employers, explored career paths, and even had the chance to set up job interviews!
Experiences like this show the value of both entering the workforce and pursuing trade schools—real opportunities for a strong future. 💼

East had an incredible time at the 2026 EAST Conference!
Some of our East students attended and represented our program with excellence, creativity, leadership, and dedication.
A special congratulations to Maddox Beaver, who served on the Ambassador Leadership Team and was honored as the 2026 Lindsey Ball Parker Leadership Award recipient. Maddox was also selected as the very first EAST mascot, “The Big E,” a fun and well-deserved recognition.
We’d also like to celebrate Lily Kent, whose graphic design was selected as one of the first official EAST stickers and sold out within minutes in the EAST Gear Store!
We are incredibly proud of our students and all they accomplished at this year’s conference. 💙💛
