Mrs. Sarah’s kindergarten class enjoyed writing consonant-vowel-consonant words in a sensory writing activity earlier in the week! Always a fun activity for our students! 🎉

From Blazer grads to Blazer teachers, we are thankful to have our hometown educators like Mrs. Holly Turley.
Holly is a 1994 graduate of Valley View High School. She has been teaching for 24 years and is currently the High School Library/Media Specialist.
Holly’s favorite memories of being a student at Valley View are hanging out in the breezeway at lunch, being told “you should be typing, not talking” at least once a day by Mrs. Bryant, and so many other great memories of all of the other wonderful educators who worked to shape us into responsible young people, yet also loved us through all of our nonsense! 💙💛

Mrs. Hutchison’s Valley View High School students recently participated in a rat dissection. Dissection provides a great hands on learning opportunity. Students develop skills and knowledge about the three-dimensional nature of the muscular system and major organ systems. The kids did a fantastic job!

Mrs. JoAnna and Ms. Christy’s Valley View PreK Program class love to play in learning centers! Learning centers are a great opportunity for students to engage in hands-on, open-ended, meaningful experiences that support developmentally appropriate play.
