Valley View Intermediate School students explored the mathematical constant pi (π) and the idea of an infinite number by creating paper chains. 🔗 Each link represented another digit of pi, showing how the sequence continues without end. ➗♾️📚

On this special day—March 14th or 3.14—we celebrate Pi Day! 🔢 Pi (π) is an irrational number with an infinite number of decimal places, and it has fascinated mathematicians for centuries!
It also happens to be one of Superintendent Popejoy’s favorite days of the year! 🎉 As a former math teacher, he loves talking all things Pi (or pie 🍰)!
