From Blazer grads to Blazer teachers, we are thankful to have our hometown educators like Mrs. Laura Blalock! Laura is a 1995 graduate of Valley View High School. She has been teaching for 25 years and is a first grade teacher at Valley View Elementary. Laura's favorite memories of being a student at Valley View are walking to the Penny Pantry for lunch and riding to school with her friend Crystal in the little gray car! Laura's favorite memory of teaching at Valley View is getting to teach with her mother, Dr. Sharon Taylor. She is also the assistant junior girls basketball coach and assistant softball coach.  Meagan's favorite memories of being a student at Valley View are all the activities during homecoming week, playing basketball and softball with my friends, softball senior all-star week, the breakfast from the concession stand in the commons every morning, and making art in Mrs. Pierson's class. With the threat of severe weather in our area, the Valley View tunnel will be open as a safe shelter. You may enter the tunnel using the Jr High entrance located under the awning on the east side of the building.
