Valley View Elementary students enjoyed a special visit from Valley View High School Medical Lab students, who led a student-guided Health Fair! 🩺✨ Through interactive stations, elementary students learned about germs 🧼, exercise 💪, first aid 🚑, and healthy eating 🍎. Last week was a special night celebrating 100 years of Valley View ! 🎉 Lady Blazer Softball was honored to welcome Coach Stacy Johns to throw out the first pitch ⚾️ After 35 years at Valley View, she will be retiring at the end of this year. From coaching volleyball in the 90s 🏐 to contributing to multiple programs—including a state championship in esports 🏆🎮—her impact has been incredible. Learning was in full motion in Mrs. Higgins’ classroom last week. Freshmen Physical Science students put their skills to the test using Hot Wheels cars to explore how speed and momentum change with different ramp heights. By experimenting, observing, and recording their results, students got a hands-on look at how science works in the real world. Safe to say—this lesson was a fast favorite. 🚗💨 #BlazerPride🔥

On behalf of the Valley View Blazer Band, we invite everyone to come out and support our incredible students as they prepare for State Concert Contest with their Honor Ensemble performance. 🎶 As many of you know, we lost a dear friend, Bentley Peterson, on July 25, 2025. Bentley was an amazing friend, son, student, musician, and an inspiration to so many. His loss has been deeply felt throughout our band program, and he remains in our hearts every day. ❤️ We are incredibly honored to share that, through the generosity of several anonymous donors, our band was given the opportunity to commission renowned composer Andrew Boysen Jr. to create a piece in Bentley’s memory. This work holds a special place in our hearts, and we hope it brings reflection, healing, and connection for our students, staff, families, and community as we continue to honor his life. 🎼 From the bottom of our hearts, we thank the donors who made this meaningful tribute possible. 👏 We hope you will join us as we remember Bentley during the world premiere of “…and the message was love” this Thursday (4/16) at 8:15 PM in the Searcy High School Fine Arts Auditorium. 🕊️ #BlazerPride🔥
