Yesterday, Valley View High School came together to celebrate our veterans with a heartfelt assembly organized by Mrs. Shoemaker’s AP U.S. History class. 💙
Our choir and band performed beautiful patriotic songs as we reflected on the service and sacrifice of those who have defended our country. Thank you to all who have served — we are forever grateful! ❤️🤍💙

Valley View Junior High student Addyson Putt kicked off her amazing new EAST project! She met with several incredible community partners — including Mayor Copenhaven, Brian Richardson, Jana Haskins, WAT 22, and many others who are making a difference for our local veterans.
Addyson had the opportunity to visit City Hall and tour the Veteran Cottages. Her vision is to use her own personal experiences to help spread awareness about the benefits and resources available to local veterans.
We’re so proud of Addyson’s hard work, compassion, and leadership. She even spoke at the Veterans Day Dinner at the Elks Lodge, sharing her message of gratitude and hope.

🏈 Blazers are Conference Champions! 🏈
The Blazers ended the regular season with a 49–35 victory over Batesville, finishing the season 7–0 in conference and extending their streak to 21 consecutive conference wins — an incredible accomplishment for the Class of 2026! 👏
Next up, the Blazers will host Harrison in the first round of the 5A State Playoffs this Friday night at Central Dealerships Stadium.💙💛
