The 4th period class that brings the most pudding cups will be rewarded with donuts on Friday. Thank you for supporting our backpack food program.

Mrs. James’s seventh-grade Geography classes practiced using latitude and longitude last Friday by playing Bingo Battleship. Learning can be a little more fun with some boat-sinking competition.

Please help us collect food for our backpack program this week. The junior high has been specifically tasked with collecting pudding, but all nonperishable contributions are welcomed. Because of recent cuts to grant funding, our program to help families in our community now relies entirely on private donations. Your generosity is appreciated.

What's the scoop on our new Blazers? This afternoon, junior high student council members welcomed our new students with some ice cream. The students enjoyed a few minutes in the commons area as they talked and became better acquainted. An afternoon of warm welcomes and cold treats is a double-scoop of Blazer fun.

Another school year concludes today for most of the faculty and staff. The junior high faculty enjoyed a breakfast together and made a few final plans for the summer. We wish Mrs. Sandra Gambill all the best and a happy retirement. She will be missed.
