Today, our hardworking Jr. Principals were Chandler Harrell, Blakely Osment, Bailee Sloan, and Mabry Young! They spent the day assisting our principals with duties, making deliveries, and getting a behind-the-scenes look at leadership in our school. Great job, future leaders! 💙💛

Our students celebrated Earth Day with nature walks, creative writing, and sweet treats! A fun and thoughtful way to honor our planet and reflect on how we can care for it.🌎

Mrs. Manning's Kindergarten class enjoyed learning about the letter Y! Y is for yes — and that’s what we say As we learned all about Y in a sweet, fun way! With smiles and sunshine and popsicles, hooray! It was the coolest Kindergarten Yes Day!

Mrs. Rollins 1st grade class put their STEM skills to the test by building nests for their marshmallow peeps!

Mrs. Partee’s 1st grade class turned into surgeons! They performed “contraction surgery” and learned how two words come together to make a contraction. Learning has never been so hands-on and fun! 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️😷

Mrs. Lewis’s 1st grade class welcomed some new friends this week — their chicks hatched! The students had a blast learning about the chick life cycle and watching it all happen in real time. 🐣🐥

Mrs. Patti’s 2nd grade class has been exploring what plants need to grow. Today, they dissected a bean and discovered the embryo, the seed coat (also called the exosperm), and other parts inside. So cool to see the little scientists in action! 💙💛

April Fool's Day Fun! Ask your child about all the pranks pulled today—both teachers and students were in on the fun! From growing marshmallows and eating “brown E’s” to searching for the legendary Sloof Lirpa Bird, it was a wild and hilarious day!
