6th graders just wrapped up our unit on lyric poetry, where we explored emotions and personal expression in writing. To end on a fun note, we played 'Finish the Lyrics'—students tested their knowledge of famous song lyrics and poetic lines. It was a great way to connect the themes in lyric poetry to contemporary music, showing how writing can extend beyond the classroom and into popular culture!🎶🎤🎸
