🔥 Blazer Athletics Update 🔥 The day kicked off at Paragould Country Club where our Blazer Golf teams competed in a Tri-Match with GCT and Paragould. Both the Girls and Boys came up just short, but it was still a strong showing on the course ⛳️💪. From there, we rolled down Hwy 49 into Bearcat Nation for a classic crosstown rivalry in volleyball — and the Lady Blazers showed up big time! 🏐💛💙 Scores: • 7th Grade: W 25–17, 25–21 • Jr. B: L 21–25, 11–25 • JH: W 12–25, 25–21, 15–12 • JV: W 25–18 • Varsity: W 25–20, 25–10, 25–17 A true Blazer Pride day — battling on the course and dominating on the court. #OneFire #BlazerPride #BeatTheBearcats

Phil Parker Memorial🏆⛳ August 12th, 2025, was more than just a golf tournament—it was a tribute to one of the greatest coaches NEA has ever known. Truthfully, Coach Phil Parker wasn’t just great… he was the greatest. His state titles on the court and course speak for his unmatched coaching ability, but it was his character that truly set him apart. Coach Parker was one of those rare leaders everyone knew, respected, and loved—because they knew he cared far more about his players than any trophy. The Phil Parker Memorial Golf Tournament at Ridgepointe Country Club was our way of saying thank you to a man who gave so much to the game, to his athletes, and to our community. On a hot summer day, 96 players came together to honor his legacy. The Valley View Girls Golf Team battled hard, finishing 2nd as a team. A special shout-out to Susanna Manns from Russellville, who fired an incredible 67 to win 1st medalist, and Nate Krumholtz, who carded a 72 to claim 1st medalist on the boys’ side. A huge thank you to the Valley View Coaches for making this event happen.
